Welcome!

This is our new on-line catalogue. In the near future you will be able to access this from your home, browse our catalog, even renew your books from your home computer! This catalogue will tell you if a book is in or out, when it is due if it's out, and give you a brief bibliographical review of the book. It is also useful in searching for movies, audio cassettes and CD's, and will contain a number of helpful links and a wealth of valuable, free information for our patrons.

How to use this catalogue.

Near the top of this screen is the search bar. By entering a title, author, even subject or keyword, into this bar you can access a complete listing of all the books or materials that match the search criteria you have entered.

Also, next to the search bar is a drop-down menu that by default displays the word "ALL." By clicking on the downward facing arrow next to the word, it will displays a list of options to help you in your search. By selecting one of the options, you can narrow your search. For example, if you are searching for books from a particular author, selecting "Author" in this drop-down menu will only display the works of the author you specify by entering the author's name in the search bar.

Lastly, the second drop-down bar and third option there is a drop-down menu that specifies what kinds of materials the computer will search for. For example, selecting "DVD" from this menu will only display DVD's matching your search criteria.
